My
family loves watermelon. I purchased a
big watermelon and was able to use it to make fresh watermelon jelly,
watermelon juice and had some left just for eating. Here is my recipe for fresh watermelon
jelly. The watermelon was so sweet no
sugar needed for both the jelly and the juice.
Ingredients
1/2 bag of agar-agar powder
4 cups of watermelon juice
Cooking Method
In
a pot, combine ½ the packet of agar-agar powder and 4 cups of watermelon juice. You could add a few drops of red food
coloring if you want the jelly to have a deep red color. Mix well and stir it constantly until boiling.
Pour
it into a mold (baking pan, cake pan, silicon shape trays). Refrigerate for
about 2 hours. Then cut and serve.
