Baked Tilapia (Ca Ro Phi Nuong)

We eat fish quite often in our house.  Tilapia is one of our favorite type of fish because it is low in calories, yet high in protein.  This is a super simple recipe with only 2 ingredients (if you have the “go to” sauce ready for use).

Ingredients

1 portion (6 oz) of tilapia filet fish thawed
1/2 cup of “go to” sauce
Siracha hot sauce (optional)

Baking Instructions

Turn on the oven and preheat to 400F.

Line baking tray with non-stick foil.  Place fish on foil and put “go to” sauce on top of fish.  Fold foil to cover fish and put in oven for 10 minutes.

Once fish is done baking, turn oven off and leave in oven for an additional 5 minutes.  Remove from oven plate and serve.  Drizzle fish with siracha hot sauce if you like to eat spicy.

TIP:  Steamed or sautéed veggies would paired beautifully with this dish.
